Miscellaneous Notes

The Zellner chalice: Aubrey Zellner, OSB, served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army from 1939-46. While stationed in India, Father Aubrey served the parish of San Thome in Mylapore (Peacock Town) in South India. When he left that community the parishioners presented him with this 18K gold chalice in gratitude for his service. The base is quite simple with a cross on one side and a peacock on the other.
